2. Small classes |
Our department offers small classes of 25 students. Thus, the instructors provide the lessons which meet the students’ needs. The students learn the materials thoroughly from the instructors. Such a small class instruction improves the students’ academic performance.
3. Excellent instructors |
Our department has 20 full-time instructors (16 Taiwanese instructors, 4 Japanese instructors) who have their own specialty and work hard in teaching and conducting research (please refer to the introduction of the instructors for the details). These instructors are the most important human resources in our department because they have passion and willingness to offer enriched education through student guidance.
In the classes, the Japanese instructors teach Japanese conversation classes. The students not only can improve their communicative competence through the interaction with the native speakers, but also broaden up their worldviews by understanding a different culture. The department created an ideal learning environment for the students to educate them to actively participate in the international society through cooperation with Taiwanese and Japanese instructors who are proficient in English and Japanese.
